M.A., CCC-SLP | 5+ years experience
Carlie is a licensed speech-language pathologist and owner of Wilder Voices Speech Therapy. She earned her Bachelor’s from the University of Colorado Boulder and her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado. She holds her CCC-SLP through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in Nevada.
With over five years of experience across schools, early intervention, outpatient clinics, and home health, Carlie has found that the most meaningful progress happens in a child’s natural environment. She loves working in the home, where therapy can feel comfortable, practical, and truly connected to daily life.
Her approach is play-based, child-led, and neurodiversity-affirming, supporting speech, language, feeding, AAC, and communication differences in a way that feels natural and engaging.
Communication grows best when children feel safe, understood, and supported.
Many families come to therapy already feeling overwhelmed, unsure how to help their child, exhausted from trying different approaches, or feeling like therapy just hasn’t felt like the right fit.
I created Wilder Voices to offer something different: therapy that feels calm, connected, supportive, and centered around the child as a whole person, not just a checklist of skills to work on.
I believe children communicate best when they feel safe, understood, and genuinely connected to the people around them. My goal is to create an environment where children can build communication naturally through play, trust, relationship, and meaningful interaction while also helping parents feel supported and confident along the way.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or simply looking for a therapy approach that feels different, we’d love to connect.
